The Fofer Show is a magical, musical, moving storybook, transporting audiences to the special secret island of Fof, home to the multi-colored furry Fofers and their gentle four-legged friends, the Peaceballs. Multimedia artist Shana Barry tells the tale of the day she discovered the island of Fof during an afternoon adventure in her rowboat. She met the Fofers, explored their special island and now shares their world through musical stories and animations. The Fofer Show is an hour-long mesmerizing animated concert featuring Shana Barry’s imaginative tales and gentle guitar and ukulele playing. Her soothing voice is accompanied by beautifully illustrated projected animations she’s created, which include song lyrics so young readers can follow along. At the end of The Fofer Show, the audience is invited to meet five real Fofers (actually three-foot tall furry Fofer dolls sewn and sculpted by Shana) plus a pair of Peaceballs and a sea creature named Sullivan Ray. After each of the forty performances so far, people have flocked to the stage to hold and hug the Fofers and their friends, and ask questions about life on Fof. The Fofer Show is perfect for two to ten-year olds and their parents. It's also a big hit with people of all ages with disabilities.
